The Chester County Eaglettes dropped a 9-3 decision to Scotts Hill on Thursday.
Chester County finished the game with seven hits. Addison Newland led the Eaglettes at the plate, going 2-for-3 from the leadoff spot.
Brentlee Burgess, Karsyn Knipper, and Aayla Howell each drove in a run for Chester County. Burgess recorded a double, while Howell, Jillian Patterson, and Macy Burton each added a hit. Georganna Pickens and Lexi Rowsey scored runs for the Eaglettes.
Kymber Martin got the start in the circle for Chester County and pitched one inning, allowing three runs on four hits while walking one.
Addy Parker worked three innings in relief, giving up six runs (five earned) on four hits while striking out six and walking three.
The Eaglettes continued to battle at the plate throughout the game but were unable to overcome the early deficit.
