Eaglettes fall to Scotts Hill

The Chester County Eaglettes fell behind early and couldn’t recover in a 16-6 loss to Scotts Hill on Monday.
Scotts Hill came out swinging, scoring seven runs in the first inning to take control of the game. They added to the lead over the next two innings, taking advantage of hits and a few Eaglettes errors to extend the margin.
Chester County continued to battle at the plate and finished with 11 hits on the night. Jillian Patterson led the way, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Reece Collins and Brentlee Burgess also collected two hits each as the Eaglettes found some rhythm offensively.
Despite the early deficit, Chester County put together solid at-bats throughout the game, pushing across six runs against a Scotts Hill team that totaled 13 hits.
Kymber Martin worked in the circle for the Eaglettes, going six innings.
