Eaglettes win a pair in district play

The Chester County Eaglette Softball Team put together wins over district rivals North Side and South Side last week. Their only loss was at the hands of the McNairy County Lady Bobcats when they were shut out 10-0.
The Eaglettes also defeated Hardin County 6-5 in non-district match-up.
The Eaglettes won against North Side and South Side. They were shut out by McNairy County 10-0.
The Eaglettes also defeated Hardin County in a non-district matchup.

Last Tuesday the Eaglettes defeated Hardin County 6-5 in a close one. The girls in blue put together six hits at the plate and recorded five RBI’s and gave up five hits.
Kymber Martin started the game in the pitcher’s circle. She walked one batter. Jillian Patterson came in relief and struck out two and walked three.
At the plate the Eaglettes put together six hits and five RBIs. Georganna Pickens, Brentlee Burgess, Jillian Patterson, Karsyn Knipper, Addison Newland and Makynlee Campbell had one hit apiece.

The Lady Eagles were at home last Thursday when they shut out North Side 23-0 in an overwhelming victory. The Eaglettes gave up only one hit in the contest.
The starting pitcher for the Eaglettes was Jillian Patterson. She pitched three innings, striking out six and walking one batter.
Addy Parker came in relief and pitched the remaining two innings. She struck out four and walked zero.
The Eaglettes were busy at the plate with 12 hits and 19 RBIs. Ryan Whitman had three hits followed by Brentlee Burgess, Kymber Martin and Addison Newland with two each. Jillian Patterson, Karsyn Knipper, and Jordyn Cobb had one apiece.

Following the resounding win over North Side, the Eaglettes traveled to McNairy County Friday to take on the Lady Bobcats where they were shut out 0-10.
Everything went in favor of the Lady Bobcats who recorded 10 hits and eight RBI’s.
The Eaglettes were only able to muster up a single hit by Addison Newland.
The Lady Eagles used three pitchers, Jillian Patterson, Addy Parker and Chloe Teague. They combined for two strike outs and four walks.
