More than 500 Chester Countians had turned out to vote in the 2022 General Election as of Tuesday evening, July 19. According to the Chester County Election Commission, 59 people had voted by mail prior to Early Voting. Total voters for July 15, 16, 17 and 18 were 175, 70, 137 and 121, respectively, with a total of 7 by mail votes added in that same time frame. These numbers represent 5.3% of the total registered voters in Chester County. Early voting continues through July 30, with polls open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8 to 7 on Thursday and 8 to noon on Saturday.
