Dr. Edna Dorris Butterfield, 84, lovingly known as Nana, passed away peacefully on Aug. 15, 2026.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Aug. 29 at Henderson Church of Christ, White Avenue, Henderson, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. officiated by David Wade.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alyson Black Memorial Academic Scholarship c/o Freed-Hardeman University or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Nana’s life was a testimony of strength, faith, service, kindness, and love.
Her family and friends will miss her greatly and will carry her example and the memories she gave them for generations to come.
