Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. We always enjoy our family time on Christmas Eve, eating, opening gifts, making cookies, talking and laughing. Our kids and grandkids spent the night with us. They always have something under the tree on Christmas morning that is a surprise to them; then, we went to Danny’s nephew’s house (the Harwell’s) for a big breakfast brunch, and we opened more gifts. We all had so much fun; that is what family time should be! I truly hope you all got to spend it with family, and I hope Santa was good to all the boys and girls!

Now, we look forward to New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day; my hope for everyone is that you are safe no matter what you do. There will be many New Year’s Eve activities, so if you are out and about, drive safely and watch out for the other drivers. Our family will enjoy our traditional meal on New Year’s Day.

Happy birthday wishes go to Austin Spain on Dec. 29, Rae Harwell and Danny Swafford on Dec. 30, Frankie Finley and Megan Weeks on Dec. 31, Mary Jo Hughes on Jan. 1 and Tammy Austin and Killan Middleton on Jan. 3. Happy anniversary to Larry and Priscilla Gilbert on Dec. 31, Tom and Rae Harwell on Jan. 1 and Bobby and Jo Maness on Jan. 4. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
