Hello from Enville! I hope everyone is having a good week!
I am glad that the rain has stopped and that we are seeing sunshine. Our hearts and prayers go out to Selmer and surrounding areas where tornadoes came through. I pray for recovery efforts that are taking place and cleanup to begin in the devastated areas. There have been so many reaching out to help in time of need. The flooding has been devastating for so many as well. So sorry to hear about Bell’s Drive In burning down. Pray for all concerned and for the town of Henderson.
Passover will begin on Saturday, April 12, and will end on Sunday, April 20. April 13 is Palm Sunday. It commemorates the Christian belief in the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem when He was greeted by cheering crowds, waving palm branches that they set out on the ground along his path, according to the Bible. Many churches will have a Palm Sunday service.
Happy birthday wishes go to Richard Maness on April 15, Melissa Maness Marilyn Mooney and our son-in-law, Kelley Collins on April 16. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for the families of Birdie Black and Jeff Whitten and continue prayers for Robert and Linda Johnson, Harold Maness, Robert Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Mary Lou Avent, Ann Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Kaye and Bo Jack Killingsworth, Shirley Bishop, Nita Middleton, Reece Collins, Dorothy Allen, Jeremy Crowell, Janice Massengill Strickland, James Vinson, Jimmy Robertson, Jeff Finley, Tom Harwell, Glenn Butts, Mike Finley, Rick Ooley, Karl Starnes, Jack Hampton, all who have lost loved ones, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board, our county and country and, as always, each other.
