Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July holiday. We sure did. We spent the weekend at the river. We had a big family gathering on Friday. Danny smoked Boston butts, and we had potato salad, baked beans, slaw, desserts and homemade banana ice cream. It was all delicious. On Saturday, all of our family gathered at Wesley and Alyssa’s home along with their family and friends for a shrimp boil. It was awesome. Matthew did a great job! There was a huge water slide that all the kiddos enjoyed. Well, there were several adults that liked it, too. We all had a great time! I hope you were with family and friends also! We enjoyed some beautiful fireworks all around our campsite!
The Enville-Wildgoose Shindig will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23. There will be barbecue pork, chicken and bologna, hamburgers and hotdogs, a silent auction, a cakewalk and 50/50 drawing. Do not miss our very own Chester County hometown girl, Lakelin Lemmings, performing her awesome music. Lakelin has signed with Nashville’s Stone Country Records. She is writing and recording new songs. Her latest, “American Dreaming,” was released June 20. It will be a great evening of fun!
