Hello from Enville! I hope everyone is having a great week. It is still hot, but it is still August! I pray that the farmers will have a prosperous harvest and that the weather cooperates when the time comes.
Well, it is here! The Annual Enville Wild Goose Shindig will take place from 4-8 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 22. The firefighters cook chickens, hamburgers, hotdogs and bologna. They work hard all day to be prepared. The community club members work to get everything prepared and set up to serve as well. There will be a silent auction, cakewalk and live music by the Wayne Whitten Band. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the evening!
Happy birthday wishes go to Mike Mooney on Aug. 21, Maxine Grisham on Aug. 26 and Theo Weber on Aug. 27. Happy anniversary to Mike and Marilyn Mooney on Aug. 21. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
