Hello from Enville! I hope everyone had a great August. This is the last full week of it. I think you all are probably like me, ready for September and cooler temperatures. Also, we are waiting for the Labor Day holiday, known as the last summer holiday! Danny and I spent last week in Gatlinburg. It was a wonderful weather week. We saw several bears and just enjoyed a leisurely time.
The Enville Community Club and the Enville Volunteer Fire Department thank everyone for a successful shindig fundraiser. We could not do it without your support. We appreciate our elected officials who came out to join us. Everyone had a great time with food and fellowship along with great music. Again, THANKS, EVERYONE!
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Charlotte Canaday on Aug. 28 and Stan O’Neal and Gerald Russom on Sept. 2. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
Please pray for Harold Maness, Robert Smith, Robert Johnson, Tommy and Linda Wade, James Vinson, Harold and Carolyn Wright, Rick and Julie Ooley, Mildred Goodwin, Mary Lou Avent, Ann Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Kaye Killingsworth, baby Maven Vaughn who is still on a heart transplant list, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, military, schools and school board, our county and country, all who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other.
