Hello from Enville! Fall has arrived! I hope you all are having a good week. I am writing this early in the week, but I think the temperatures are going to be a little cooler with lower humidity later in the week. One can only hope! As of yet, I do not have any fall decorations put out. Maybe I will get motivated and excited to that this week. We are having some work done in our kitchen. We took out our sliding glass door and put in a standard door, so with all the muddling and sanding, I have some dust. Until they are done, I am not dusting the furniture or cleaning up much. Hopefully, that will be soon so I can start decorating!
It was so good to see Mr. Don Thompson Saturday at Sanford Hill; unfortunately, it was at the funeral of a dear friend from church. Come back to visit us at church anytime, Don. It was also good to see Ms. Dot Smith at church.
The Enville Baptist Church is having a “No Sale” Yard Sale from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 26, at the church at 8395 Main Street. All items are free to those in need. Come, take and bless someone. It is not about buying; it is about sharing! Coffee will be available, and everyone is welcome. Call Gay Goelz for donations or questions.
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Lisa Finley on Sept. 26. We hope you enjoy your special day!
Please pray for Harold Maness, Robert Smith, Robert Johnson, Tommy and Linda Wade, James Vinson, Harold and Carolyn Wright, Rick and Julie Ooley, Gerald and Phyllis Russom, Mary Lou Avent, Ann Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Kaye Killingsworth, Mildred Goodwin, Anita Needler, baby Maven Vaughn, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board, our county and country, all who have lost loved ones and, as always, each other.
Have a blessed week everyone!
