Hello from Enville! I hope everyone is having a great week. I hope y’all had a fun Halloween with lots of kiddos. I am ready for Thanksgiving now. I have taken the scarecrows and jack-o-lanterns down and put up my pilgrims and turkeys. I still have my fall decorations up through Thanksgiving. We are all ready for our Thanksgiving meals and being with family! Many skip over Thanksgiving and go straight into Christmas, but Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays!
The Roby Volunteer Fire Department is having a fundraiser on Nov. 14. They will serve chili (by the bowl or gallon), hotdogs and hamburgers. The food will be ready by 4:30 p.m. with a cakewalk at 6 p.m. The address is 5050 Roby Road. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the fun!
Election Day has come and gone. I hope you all are pleased with the results. As for me, I was ready for it to be over. So much bashing and being ugly is not what it should be about in my opinion!
