Evelyn Miles, 85, of Corinth, Miss., entered her eternal home on Nov. 5, 2025.
Born Dec. 16, 1939, to J.B. and Bessie Hunter Cooper, she was a 1958 graduate of Chester County High School.
She spent 13 years working at ITT, but her true calling was found in the simple joys of life—preparing home-cooked meals for family and delighting in her grandchildren.
She also served as a pink lady at Magnolia Hospital.
She enjoyed taking road trips with her husband, often opting for the scenic route. Her heart was forever changed by the loss of her son Keith, yet she allowed that pain to deepen her purpose. With strength and empathy, she reached out to families walking the same heartbreaking path, offering comfort and understanding.
She is survived by her son, Kenny (Donna) Miles; daughter, Rhonda (Eric) Arthur; grandchildren, Jordan Miles, Katie (James) Cooper, Meagan (Trent) Erwin, Ashley (Cody) Gross, Landon Miles, Marlie Miles and Myah Arthur; six great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra (Jack) Davis; and special friend, Peggy Gaillard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Miles; son, Keith Miles; parents, J.B. and Bessie Cooper; brothers, Bob Cooper and David Cooper; and her sisters, Dorothy Skelly and JoAn McKinnon.
