Golfers and sponsors are invited to hit the links with Freed-Hardeman University for the 2025 Annual Golf Scramble, set for Saturday, September 27, at 9 a.m. at Chickasaw Golf Course in Henderson, Tennessee. A $500 entry fee per four-person team includes green fees, a cart, a catered lunch, tee gifts and prizes.
“The FHU Golf Program fundraiser at Chickasaw is crucial to the success of our team,” Head Golf Coach Randall Rhodes said. “Those who participate each year have a direct impact on our players and the growth of our program. Our entire team is excited about the event and engaging with our supporters. We’re looking forward to a fun day!”
FHU Golf has an exciting 2025-26 season ahead. The team will soon be taking on 11 new players, each bringing with them tremendous successes from their own high school, junior and college careers. The new additions will be joining an accomplished group of returning players who have significant tournament experience.
The team’s upcoming schedule includes tournaments in Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee. The fundraiser tournament provides the additional funding needed for the FHU Golf Program, including travel expenses, uniforms and the golf resources required for practice and tournament play.
