The Chester County Exchange Club – Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse is once again displaying A Field of Flags on the courthouse lawn in honor and recognition of Veteran’s Day.
Each flag represents the life of a patriot, and is a way to honor and remember, while saying thank you for their service. Flags will be displayed until Nov. 12. All flag honorees and sponsors will be recognized at the American Legion Veteran’s Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 11, at Henderson City Hall.
Flags may be sponsored by contacting the Carl Perkins Center at 989-7222. Each flag will be displayed with a card stating the name of the person being honored or remembered and the name of the sponsor. Sponsorship is $20 per flag. Flags may be picked up at the Carl Perkins Center beginning Monday Nov. 13.
