Gov. Lee makes stop at CCHS

Posted

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee made a stop at Chester County High School last week as part of his “250 Tour” celebrating 250 years of America’s independence. The Governor plans to visit each county in Tennessee, he said, “visiting places that are uniquely wonderful to Tennessee and contribute to America’s greatness.” Among notable destinations, he added one goal was to visit “a school that represents some of the best of what’s happening in our state.” Chester County was recommended as a leader among CTE, ag, vocational and technical education. With the visit falling during Career and Trades Week, Gov. Lee spent time with CCHS education staff and students learning about agriculture and automotive programming. Pictured above, Gov.
