
Harold James, 73, passed away Friday Morning, May 26,2023 at Henderson Health and Rehab Center in Henderson. A celebration of Life Service is incomplete at this time. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
He was born and reared in Henderson, the son of the late Jessie James and Icie Dora White James. He attended schools in Chester County and The University of Tennessee at Martin.
He was a teacher and principal in the Chester County Schools. He taught in Madison County and the State Of Tennessee Technology. After his retirement in education, he pursued his hobby and love for antiques and was the owner of Henderson Antique Mall.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Henderson and also enjoyed teaching Sunday school there.
He is survived by a sister, J. Nell Hutcherson of Nashville, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ella Malone, Novelee Massengill and Corine Terry; and brothers, Porter, Murrel and Pat James.
