The Henderson Mayor and Board of Aldermen will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the city hall chambers. Items on the agenda include:
to consider final action on amending the zoning of the property at Fire Station #1 (505 Sanford Street) and the adjacent lot (the proposed site of the new CC911 Communication Center) from R-1 (Residential) to B-4 (Highway Business), to have a public hearing on the proposed rezoning, to consider the ordinance to rezoning on the final reading.
to consider approval of a Resolution authorizing the application and local matching funds for a Property Conservation Matching Grant Program through the city’s insurance pool.
to authorize taking bids and allowing acceptance of the best bid on coating the roofs at 60 Record Drive (Utility) and 760 US 45 North (Maintenance Shop).
authorize the purchase of a pickup truck on state contract for the utility department. And any other business.
