Hello, family and friends! How great it is to be with you one more time. The Lord has allowed us to see one more day; with everything going on, to God be the Glory! For this is the day the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it! This week, hug your family members and let them know how much you love them. Even though my mother has gone to paradise, I will always have the hugs that she gave me and that I gave her. I remember one of my friends said, “Your family loves to hug.” I said, “Yes, it is what we do because we are always glad to see each other!” So share a hug with someone you love today. If you are afraid to hug, give them a dap.
Well, we only have a few more days in the month of March, and I would like to share more Women’s History. I have so many sheroes in my life that have helped make me the women I am today! My mind goes back many years as I think of all the women that I looked up to. Starting with my mother, Mrs. Annie Clay Brown. She taught me how to treat everyone with respect. She was a pillar of the community and an excellent cook known for her famous chess pies; yes, she taught me how to cook at a very young age! She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and a firm believer of visiting the sick and shut-in. She taught her children to love the Lord and family!

There is another lady that made me smile whenever she came to visit mother on her daily walk. On the days she would stop by, she was always so pleasant and loving. She possessed a great deal of self-determination to walk every day with her big stick. Her stature is small, but she is a very powerful women that loves the Lord! Mrs. Neitha Ross, thank you for being the person you are and showing love and kindness! On the days you would stop and show love toward my mother, you did not know it then, but you would give me the strength to make it through another day! Mrs. Neitha, the City of Henderson would like to say Happy Birthday on March 27. You will be 88 and great! We pray that the Lord will bless you with many more years!
Thought for today – Defeat is not your destiny. You belong to the One who overcame even death, and that means there is nothing too difficult for Him!

On the prayer list this week: the President of the United States, our children, teachers and families, our men and women that are serving our country, our first responders, the incarcerated and anyone you may know that may need prayer. If you have something nice, pleasant or enjoyable that is happening in your life, please let me know.
