The Ingleside-Pentagon Club met at the Rhodes Family Home on Hill Avenue on Thursday, Oct. 16, for their monthly meeting. Hostesses were Kay Tignor and Caroline Johnson. Members present were Dawn Hollamon, Nancy Lofton, Cathy Powell, Lisa Beene, Becky Cyr, Nancy Smith and Spring McCutchen.
The program for the afternoon was presented by Dawn Bramblett. Dawn and her husband, Jason, bought the Rhodes family home from their neighbor, Lois Rhodes, in March of 2022. The Brambletts completely renovated the home, and it was officially opened in August of 2023 as an Airbnb. The Brambletts wanted to honor the legacy of the Rhodes family and provide a place of hospitality in the community. A tour was given of the home which was a beautiful labor of love.
The meeting was adjourned, and refreshments were served. Nancy Lofton and Lisa Beene were the winners of the door prizes. The next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 13 at the home of Toni Hardin.
