By Todd Lewis, Principal
Jacks Creek is off to a fantastic start in the 2023-24 school year with new faces eager to collaborate with both our students and faculty. This year’s new educators include Kim Beachy for Kindergarten, Leah Shull for first Grade, Kacey Fiscus for Special Education and Lauren Malecha for Fine Arts. We have also welcomed several new paraprofessionals: Andrew McCaskill, Tiffany Young, Ella Evans, and Rachel Smith.
Our strong sense of community has been shown through the generosity of Centennial Bank, First Methodist Church of Henderson and Gleaner House, who have graciously contributed school supplies. Additionally, A&A Trucking’s use of parking facilities has been greatly appreciated.
Jacks Creek was honored to be chosen by The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation to receive a $5,000 donation, which contributes tremendously in building our fine arts department.
Our theme for this year is “Under Construction: Building Leaders for a Better Tomorrow,” inspiring students to actively embrace the challenge of outworking yesterday as they learn each day.
I am both humbled and honored to assume the role of the new Building Principal. Jacks Creek is well-positioned to develop our students into exceptional leaders for a brighter future.
