Kenneth Kelly Clement, 84, of Henderson passed away peacefully Aug. 30, 2026, at the Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with visitation from 9-1 a.m. and Jon Haimes officiating. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery in Bethel Springs.
He was born in Jackson, son of the late Ted Clement and Velma Johnston Clement. He was a lifetime resident of Henderson.
He was a “jack of all trades” and could fix anything. He had worked as a truck driver, backhoe operator, plumber and mechanic. He was a member of Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian church.
He was married for 58 years to his wife, Rebecca Gail Plunk Clement who preceded him in death in 2019.
He is survived by a son, Tim (Judy) Clement of Kansas City, Kan.; one daughter, Becky (Sandy) Cox of Henderson; six grandchildren, Matthew (Sara) Clement, Aaron (Christina) Clement, Laura (Annie) Clement, Jonathon Cox, Benjamin Cox and Becca Cox; and four great grandchildren Elijah, Eleanor, Amelia and Sunday.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and one half-brother, Howard Clement.
