The Chester County Lady Eagles wrapped up their home season in style Monday night, earning a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Adamsville on Senior Night.
It didn’t take long for Chester County to get on the board. Just over a minute into the match, junior Claudia Bailey buried a shot in the back of the net to give the Lady Eagles the early edge. From there, the defense took over, led by senior Ellie Kate Knoell, whose steady play in the back kept Adamsville from finding any rhythm offensively.
All four seniors — Kiersten Holley, Kealeigh Judd, Amelia Barr, and Ellie Kate Knoell — made the most of their final home game, turning in strong performances that reflected the leadership and hard work they’ve brought to the program.
Head Coach Michael Bolton was proud of both the effort and the occasion.
“Overall it was a great night,” Bolton said. “We got to celebrate our four seniors — Kiersten Holley, Amelia Barr, Kealeigh Judd, and Ellie Kate Knoell — and we beat a good Adamsville team to cap off the night.”
The Lady Eagles now turn their attention to postseason play, carrying the momentum of a big win and the confidence that comes with a strong defensive effort.
