The Chester County Lady Eagles wrapped up their season Tuesday night with a 5-0 loss to top-ranked Fairview in the regional tournament.
Despite what the scoreboard showed, the game was far closer for much of the night. Chester County trailed just 2-0 with seven minutes left before Fairview — the No. 1 team in the state in most rankings — added a few late goals to pull away.
The Lady Eagles played with heart from start to finish, showing the same grit and teamwork that carried them through an impressive year.
“Great effort by the girls against the number one team in the state,” said head coach Michael Bolton. “The girls accomplished a lot, including winning the district regular season, finishing with an 11-6-1 record, and making it to the regional tournament. Couldn’t be more proud of them.”
It was a season filled with highlights for Chester County, from key district wins to steady leadership on and off the field. With several players set to return next year, the Lady Eagles have plenty to build on as they look ahead to another strong run in 2026.
