The Chester County High School Lady Eagles recorded two shutout victories on consecutive nights, defeating North Side 5-0 on Senior Night before rolling past South Side 8-0.
Claudia Bailey led Chester County with a hat trick against North Side on Monday. She opened the scoring by dribbling downfield and finding the back of the net. Miley Cupples later drew a foul inside the box, and Bailey converted the penalty kick for her second goal.
Bailey completed the hat trick after Lydia Elliott played a strong ball downfield to set up Chester County’s third goal.
Autumn Greene scored the Lady Eagles’ other two goals, with both shots coming from outside the 18-yard box. Goalkeeper Kendall Cherry made three saves to secure the shutout.
Before the match, Chester County honored seniors Abbie Greene, Autumn Greene, Samantha Gonzalez, Lydia Elliott, Taylor Walters and Claudia Bailey for their contributions to the Lady Eagles soccer program.
The Lady Eagles carried that momentum into Tuesday’s match against South Side, building the final 8-0 margin by halftime.
Bailey opened the scoring by dribbling forward and placing a shot into the corner of the goal. She then crossed the ball to Elliott, who finished the play for Chester County’s second goal.
Gaby Kammanee scored off a cross through the box before Elliott added her second goal on another cross. Cupples followed by sending a shot across the box and into the goal.
Greene later played a pass into the box that Bailey finished for her second goal of the match. Cupples and Cheyenne McDonald completed the scoring with breakaway goals.
Chester County finished the South Side match with 37 shots, including 21 on goal. The Lady Eagles outscored their opponents 13-0 across the two victories.
