Todd Lewis has joined the staff of the Chester County Independent as a part-time sportswriter/photographer. He served an assistant football coach at Chester County High School and Chester County High School from 2009-2020.

His expertise as a coach and athletic director gives him an excellent background to write about and photograph our local sports teams,” Independent Publisher Scott Whaley said. He and his wife Brittany have three sons that are involved in local sports.”
Lewis serves as the principal of Jacks Creek Elementary School and has worked in the local school system in a variety of roles throughout his tenure.
He has served as assistant principal of Chester County Junior High School, dean of student life, testing coordinator, athletic director and taught health and wellness.
Lewis also serves as Chester County Commissioner for District Six.
He is a 2005 graduate of Freed-Hardeman University. He graduated with a B.S. in Physical Education with endorsements in K-12. He completed his master’s in administration and Supervision in 2013.
