Library’s summer program is all about the books!

The Chester County Library officially kicked off their summer reading program Saturday, May 31, with a fun-filled Messtival.

This week’s events include:

June 11
– Game Day for Adults, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
June 12
– Stitching Hour, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
– Middle School Book Club, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
– Book Club for Adults, 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
June 13
– Cell Phone Photography for Teens, 3p.m. to 4 p.m.
June 14
– Word Weavers, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
June 17
– Petting Zoo, 10:30 a.m.
June 18
– Juneteenth Story Time, 10:30 a.m.


You probably don’t need one, but here are some other reasons to stop by the library (1012 E Main St., Henderson) during June:
Bingo - Pick up a Summer Art Bingo card for kids and a Book Genre Bingo card for teens and adults – there will be a prize drawing in July.


Drop by Mondays in June between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to paint a rock to add to Chessster the Snake!
