Linda Sue Martin Phillips Johnson, 72, of Enville passed away May 7, 2025, at Adamsville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, at Enville Methodist Church. Pastor Robert Conder officiated. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery at Enville. The family received friends at Enville Methodist Church from noon-2 p.m. Monday.
She was born May 22, 1952, in McNairy County, near Enville, the daughter of the late James L. and Cora Faye Virginia Evans Martin. She went to school at Leapwood and Adamsville and graduated from Adamsville High School.
She married Tommy Phillips. They made their home at Enville. Tommy was a truck driver, and she worked at Garan Mfg. at Adamsville.
She was a member and very involved at Enville Methodist Church. She cleaned the church building for many years, taught Sunday school and served as Sunday School Superintendent.
She was a member of the Enville Community Club. Mr. Phillips passed away. She married Robert Johnson in 2020. They made their home at Enville.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy Phillips; daughter, Christy Phillips; and brothers, Jimmie Martin and Larry Martin.
