The Chester County Lions Club proudly recognized Rilee Trice as the Dr. Ronald Johnson Student of the Month. Rilee is the daughter of Toni and Lee Trice and the granddaughter of Nancy and Bill Trice. She serves as the vice president of the Freshman Class at Chester County High School. She is an all-A student taking honors English and honors math courses. She is a member of HOSA and the volleyball team. Her hobbies are reading, spending time with family and friends and enjoying activities with her church youth group. According to her honors math teacher, Corey Sweat, “Rilee is one of my favorite students! She is very capable academically, and her academic capabilities pale in comparison to her great character. She is resilient, never allowing the circumstances of life to be an excuse for not doing her best, and she is a constant encouragement to those around her to be the same. Rilee has a great sense of humor, and she never fails to lighten the mood of any room she enters. Rilee is someone who strives to make everyone’s day better even if she is not having a great day herself. She has already made such a great impact in this world, so I look forward to seeing her impact continue. It has been an absolute privilege to have her in my class.” Volleyball coach, Emily Ellis, said, “Rilee is the sweetest and kind-hearted player that I’ve likely ever had. She strives to do her best every day in practice and in games. She does everything that is asked of her and is kind to everyone! She has been through so much, and she handles it all with such grace. She puts others ahead of herself and shows compassion for others.” Her future plans include attending college to become a registered nurse and pursuing her nurse practitioner’s degree. We are super proud of you, Rilee, and know you will accomplish great things.
