Recently, Chester County residents Paige Lofton and Paul Jones earned awards in agriculture shows in the region. Lofton participated in the Western Region 4-H Show in Martin and competed in six classes of the Hunter Division, earning placement in each category. Her honors are as follows: Sr. Hunter Showmanship - second place; Hunter Geldings - first place; Sr. Hunter Under Saddle - first place; Sr. Hunt Seat Equitation - first place; Sr. Hunter Hack - first place and Sr. Hunter Trail - first place.
Jones participated in the Southern States Junior Dorper Show in Cookeville. He was awarded third place in Senior Showmanship and first place in Market Lamb Class.
