Mrs. Lorrie Ann Ashbrook, 63, of Henderson, died June 25, 2026, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Jackson. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, June 29, at Shackelford Funeral Directors - Casey Chapel with burial following in Old Friendship Cemetery in Finger.
She was born in Henderson on Aug. 8, 1962. She was raised in Finger by her parents, Carolyn Matthews Rouse and the late Jacob Rouse, Sr. She was a 1980 graduate of Chester County High School.
She was a hard worker and worked at several factories in the area during the course of her career. On Dec. 23, 2018, she married David Ashbrook, and they made their home in Henderson. Her favorite time of the year was the Christmas Season. She was always collecting Christmas decor and spent several months each year strategically placing these items throughout her home in preparation for the holiday. 
She made use of anything and everything as a D.I.Y. Master. Her family referred to her as the “Push Pin, Bread Twister Queen,” as they were two of her most common tools.
She loved her family. She had a special bond with her late grandmother, adored her husband, David, and found great joy in her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David Ashbrook; her mother, Carolyn Rouse of Henderson; two daughters, Crystal (Patrick) Canada of Jackson and Samantha Dawn Parker-Adams of Jackson; a stepdaughter, Amy (Keith) Walton of Norfolk, Va.; one stepson, Dave (Kaitlyn) Ashbrook of Brownsville, Ga.; a sister, Lisa Annette Russell of Jackson; nine grandchildren, Caley Huddleston, Gunner Gary, Alexia Brooks, Peyton Gary, Hunter Canada, Tyler Canada, Allisya Gary, Hayden Gary and Nathan Brooks; and one great-grandchild, Wrenley Young.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Jacob Rouse, Jr.
