Chester County Sheriff’s deputies were at Loving Paws Animal Rescue in Luray yesterday along with tow trucks and transport teams to move items off the property.
The owner of the rescue, Ron Preuss, had previously been ordered by the court to leave the property last year but refused.
According to an ASPCA, employee there are over a dozen dogs that need to be rescued from the property, and they are having a hard time finding resources for them to receive proper care.
Last November, multiple first responders worked to put out a fire that destroyed the Loving Paws Rescue residence, forcing Preuss to live in a RV on the property.
