Margaret Marie Stablein, 66, of Linden passed away May 8, 2025, at her home. There will be no services.
She was born April 19, 1959, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Robert Joseph and Lorraine Elizabeth Nape Kinney. She grew up in Chicago and attended Nicholas Senn High School.
She married Shawn Brian Stablein on March 4, 1978. They made their home in Illinois and then later moved to Henderson in 1989.
She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, homemaker and Nana. In her later years, her main interests and activities centered around her grandchildren. She loved listening to her Classic Rock music, and St. Patrick’s Day was her favorite holiday. She loved hard, always saw the good in people and never met a stranger.
She is survived by two daughters, Erin Kathleen Stablein Weatherington of Jackson and Heather Christina Stablein of Henderson; a son, Brian Edmund Stablein of Galveston, Texas; six grandchildren, Tyler Colby Stablein, Cordale Stinson Lee Stablein, La ‘Kayla Shavon Stablein, Jamal Keanthony Earl Evans, Brian Edmund Stablein, Brianna Marie Neal and Mallory Jane King; two great-grandchildren, Zayden Shawn Strablein and Madilyn Rose Stablein; a brother, Donald (Mary Ellen) Kinney of North Carolina; and four sisters, Diane Cagle of St. Pete, Fla., Roseanna Kinney of Inverness, Fla., Lorraine Gillespie of St. Pete, Fla., and Kathleen (Henry) Bormann of Inverness, Fla.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Kinney, Michael Kinney and Charles Kinney, and two sisters, Patricia Ann Whitsett and Susan Kinney.
