Chester County held the 2022 Miss Chester County BBQ Festival Pageant on Saturday January 22. The crown went to Mason Progar who is pictured above. The runner-up was Sydney Caen and the second runner-up was Sydney Pate. Other candidates were Katie Boarman and Ashton Kissee. Progar is a 19-year-old student at Maryville College majoring in Health and Wellness Promotion and the creator of International Smiles, an organization created to advocate for dental health for children around the globe. This is an official preliminary to Miss Tennessee and Miss America. Miss Tennessee 2021, Tally Bevis was the pageant’s emcee. Miss Tennessee will be held in Memphis, June 19-25 at The Cannon Center. Progar won a $500 scholarship and will compete for more scholarships while at the Miss Tennessee competition.
