Hello to all from this little corner of the world. The sun was shining, and the clouds were white with a very slight breeze noted on Sunday. The temperature was 89 degrees but felt like 94 degrees.
Well, the pepper on the banister failed to deter the squirrel after several attempts; now, James has poured vinegar on it. Time will tell. Fall has arrived. The forecast called for rain Wednesday and Thursday with some slightly cooler temps.
The Fall Break for Chester County Schools will be Oct. 11-18. I am sure many are looking forward to this. Football is the fall game for me and others. It was not always so. Hoping everyone stays safe.
We had a good crowd at church Sunday. We are thankful for all members and visitors. We had a very good turnout for the Fall Festival on Sept. 20. We had a lot of little children Sunday for children’s church, and we also have a Wednesday night program for them called Kid Zone which begins at 6:20 p.m. Thanks to all who bring them to church to learn about the Lord. They will certainly need Him on the journey of life.
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones. Prayers for all going through tough times with health, jobs, family or financial.
Remember that God is faithful in ALL things! He is always working. He hears every thought and every request. He loves YOU. Call on Him when you are at your lowest; keep your mind on Him, and things WILL improve. I do this myself. I talk to Him often every day. He can help you become positive and happy. Life is very short; enjoy what you have and appreciate it. Give thanks! Be grateful. We are here now, but we may be gone in less than an hour. God bless you all!

I pray you all have a wonderful week and may it be filled with love, joy, peace and blessings. Remember: if you have news, please email me at mimmiepots@gmail.com. I would truly appreciate any news. People from here and those who have moved from our area but still want to keep in touch through the newspaper are hungry for news from home.
Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
