Hello to all from this little corner of the world. Although it was a little chilly at 60 degrees and windy, Monday was a beautiful day with light blue skies. We are having warmer days with a few cooler days thrown in. James mowed the mini farm Saturday. I just cannot call it a yard. The past few days in the 80s were too hot for me, but I did enjoy the beautiful day. Thankful for everyday here on earth. Life is such a wonderful gift, even with the hills and valleys, knowing the Lord is with me continuously makes the hard times bearable.
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones. Prayers are sent.
We went to my sister’s Sunday afternoon for an early Easter meal, and Kathy’s granddaughters and Laiken (our great-granddaughter) hunted eggs. They played for a while and then retreated inside where it was cooler and did other things. Jeremy, Misti, Braelyn, James and I were able to be there, but Braxton had to work, and Erin’s grandmother was ill. We missed those who could not be there.
I am sure almost everyone is enjoying their Spring Break and making plans of some sort to enjoy the time home. Stay safe and enjoy life. “I see trees of green/red roses too/I see them bloom/for me and you/and I think to myself/what a wonderful world.” – Louis Armstrong

“Dear God, please be our strength in this week ahead. Help us to remember that regardless of what we may face, You will guide us and protect us from any harm. I pray for my family and those around me. I pray for renewed health, Your wisdom to keep going and peace of mind to everyone reading this. We ask You to open new doors, and bring us through the week with Your peace, love and joy. Amen”
I pray you all have a wonderful week and may it be filled with love, joy, peace and blessings. Remember: if you have news, please email me at mimmiepots@gmail.com. I would truly appreciate any news. People from here and those who have moved from our area but still want to keep in touch through the newspaper are hungry for news from home.
Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
