Hello to all from this little corner of the world. Sunday was Father’s Day and the first day of Summer. It was a beautiful day. It was warm with blue skies and beautiful white cloud formations. James and I went to Jackson after church. He enjoys fish meals, and Captain D’s was great! I ran our car through the carwash as it was outside Saturday when he mowed and looked terrible. The mini farm looks real pretty though. The birds continue to visit, and the squirrels continue to aggravate us.
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones. Prayers are with you.
On Wednesday, it was three months since our little poodle Pepper went over Rainbow Bridge. He is missed terribly. The house is so still; it seems he is still here, but he is not. I was fixing spaghetti Saturday night and thought about how much he enjoyed those plain noodles. We usually gave him a few, and chomp, chomp, they were gone. Smart as could be. He taught himself to sit up. He was easy to train with my voice and hand signals. Plus, he LOVED me so much! He could hold a stare looking into my eyes. What can I say, we were just connected. I do not know what, if any, plans are for another furbaby in the future.
Happy birthday to Jackson Sanford, 6-26, and Hope Butler and Jaxon Richardson, 6-27.
Happy anniversary to Misti and Jeremy Ellis, 6-22.
Prayer requests for Noah Azbill, Linda Barham, Bobby Bray, Rachel Ellington, Carolyn Goff, Darren Hatch, Danny and Gail Hodges, Pat and Don Jones, Elaine Matthews, Doris McKinney, Cissy Nichols, Julia Parchman, Delores Perkins, John Pinner, Beth Plunk, Pam Priddy, Jimmy Redden, Will Roberts, Teresa Tedford, Milt and Cheryl Tobey, John Webb, Charles and Natalie Wray and the families of Walter Willis and Tyler McAdams. “We don’t get to choose how long we live, but we can choose how we live. Today is a gift. That’s why I choose gratitude. For every sunrise, every lesson. and every beautiful day I have been given.” – unknown
