Hello to all from this little corner of the world. It was 91 degrees Sunday with a heat index of 100 degrees. These days are winding down, and soon, cooler temperatures will be here along with beautiful colors on the trees. There will be little to no yard mowing, and people will begin decorating for fall. I love all seasons, but fall is my favorite and was my mother’s, too. The sky was a lovely medium blue with white clouds on Sunday. James was busy with yard work Saturday. He cut lower branches off our tulip tree, so Remi would go under and hide. He has a leash now and is as cute as a button. Last night, he was playing with an empty cola bottle and then began playing with his bed. He turned it over and was walking around with it over him. So funny! It will be wonderful when he is completely house trained. His nipping at us is improving. Looking forward to September.
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones. “We begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.” – unknown
