Hello to all from this little corner of the world. It is cloudy on Saturday, and the temperature was 73 degrees. Our birds are enjoying the cooler weather, and we had a rose-breasted grosbeak Saturday. They are very pretty birds. Well, we all have ups and downs, and mine visited this past week. I visited my doctor due to upper respiratory issues; that cleared up, and now, I have had to go again because of back issues (muscle strain). I can not figure out how it happened, but it might be from throwing toys and tug of war with Remi. He is pretty active and loves to chase his toys and bring them back. He is really growing and will be six months old Oct. 17. He is doing pretty well on house training and is so sweet and loveable. He is also funny at times and has the zoomies occasionally. He loves being spoiled, too.
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions they fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23
The West TN State Fair is Oct. 15-24 and will be held in Chester County again this year. I am glad we have it here now. I sure hope the weather is good the days it is here. Now, if we could have a tractor pull again…this city girl LOVED it!
Happy birthday to Gregory Forrester and Charlie Butler, 10-5; Ashleigh Barham and Carra Straut, 10-9; and Stephanie Hatch, 10-10.
Happy anniversary to Carra and Jacob Straut, Carla and Don Barry and Karen and Freddie Stutts, 10-10.

“Dear God, I need You. You are my everything. As long as I’m alive, I need You. I can’t face this world without You, constantly surround me with Your love, so I can feel Your presence in every high and low of my life. Without You, I can’t find my way; without You, I feel lost and alone. You are the reason I’m still here. Without You, I am nothing.”
I pray all of you will have a wonderful week and may it be filled with love, joy, peace and blessings. Remember: if you have news, please email me at mimmiepots@gmail.com. I’d truly appreciate any news. People from here and those that have moved from our area but still want to keep in touch through the newspaper are hungry for news from home. Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
