Hello to all from this little corner of the world. Sunday was a beautiful sunny day with blue skies.
The fair is over, and we are at the end of another month. Would you believe next month is November? The leaves are continually changing colors or falling. It is the month for Thanksgiving, family, friends and hope. Hope for another day, hope for the future. Hope for improved health or financial circumstances. Hope is not lost as long as we Believe! If we lose hope, what is left? We must stay prayed up as they say, but are we ever prayed up? We could pray constantly and still need to pray more prayers for need and thankfulness. I hope everyone reading this begins November being thankful. Write down one thing you are thankful for each day. Challenge your children, grandchildren or spouse to do the same. You can gather and talk about these at the end of the month or maybe one from each person on Thanksgiving. Either way, enjoy each day and the beautiful weather we are having. God is SO GOOD!
Condolences to all who have lost loved ones. There is no timetable on grief, and each person grieves differently. Be patient with yourself and others. Prayers for all. God bless.
I had a rough night last night and am addressing this for others that may have the same problem. I have peripheral neuropathy and have had it since 2006. I inherited it from my dad. He was not diabetic, and I was not when diagnosed. I do well most of the time, but this mean disease usually attacks worse at night. I use some nerve repair cream from Amazon that has frankincense in it. It usually helps. I do have nights where I am up and down, fighting it. I remember my daddy being up sitting at the kitchen table, trying to get some relief and waiting to be sleepy enough to go to bed. Some of these times, he also had to work. I know we all have health problems, but I do also think it could always be worse. No matter what cards we are dealt in life, we must know there is always a worse situation. I have heard it said that if your troubles were in a pile with other people’s, you would probably pick your own back up. God bless each of you dealing with health issues.
Remi is lying beside me as I am writing. He loves us so much and is getting sweeter by the day. He is so fast! He can run and jump. Our other three could not jump like Remi does. He is a miniature poodle. We are still working on a couple of things, but he is still a puppy. Lots of company. Again, God is so good helping us find each other.
Happy birthday to Jacob Barham, 10-27; Clara Pierce, 10-28; and Chandler Hinson, 10-30.

I pray all of you will have a wonderful week and may it be filled with love, joy, peace and blessings. Remember: if you have news, please email me at mimmiepots@gmail.com. I’d truly appreciate any news. People from here and those that have moved from our area, still want to keep in touch through the newspaper and are hungry for news from home. Until next week, Happy Trails to You.
