The Eagles will host their first home game this Friday, Sept. 2. Following a hard-fought loss last Friday to the McKenzie Rebels, the Eagles are looking to bounce back against the McNairy Bobcats. The Eagles are looking to start off the season with a 2-1 record if they notch a win in the upcoming game. This will be the first of a two-game home stint. The Eagles will then travel to Hardin County on Sept. 16, before being back at home two more weeks after that. All of the games begin at 7 and the cost to get in is $8 per person.
In other sports news, the boy’s golf team is off to a very impressive start to the year. The boys’ team is coached by Mike Goff. The team started off the year by earning second in the West Tennessee Junior Gold Association tournament. The team has earned his ranks at all of their matches with one victory worth noting being where they traveled to Adamsville and came out of the match victorious.
Be sure to come out and support any and all Eagle sporting events that you can!
I would like to continue to thank the city of Henderson and Chester County for their continued support of us here at CCHS.
God Bless and Go Eagles!
