This week at Chester County High School marked a significant milestone in the year for many students. In a stunning display of creativity and nostalgia, seniors and their dates were whisked away to the vibrant era of the Roaring Twenties for their annual prom night. The prom committee spared no expense in creating an immersive experience for attendees by turning the high school gym into a beautiful black and gold venue filled with feathers and gold accents. Though the event was spectacular, there was also a bittersweet feeling in the air as many students knew this was the beginning of the end. With graduation in the coming weeks, the impending end of this era is becoming a very prevalent thought in many seniors’ minds. This has been a fantastic year for these seniors, and they have undoubtedly left their mark on Chester County.
One constant supporter of this class has been none other than Joshua Maccarino, this month’s teacher of the month. Mr. Maccarino, or “Josh Mac,” has never shied away from helping students in any way he can, whether sponsoring student government, printing off anything for a project, or loaning you a book. He is an amazing staff member and loved by all students. As someone who has been on the receiving end of his consistent efforts to support students, I am incredibly thankful for him. To overlook all he does for our school would be criminal, as he aids in testing, student organizations, and many other activities.
Once again, it has been a great week, and we look forward to just a few more!
