News from the Deanburg Community of Chester County

Hello from Deanburg! Our Pandemic continues. They have reported that a new round has started in other countries. Please pray that we do not experience that and wear your masks. One of the “experts” has said wearing the masks is better than having a vaccine. Who knows? This is such a mysterious disease.
Please pray for our neighbors and friends in our community, our county and our country - Kristen Carlton Jones, Tim Landers. Brianna Landers, Gary Hyatt, Jim Ruth, Eloise Murley, Samantha Mosier, Woodie Deming and Barbara Mitchell. Pray for the ones with the virus. We have had quite a few more victims this week. Please play it safe and take all the precautions.
Our devotion this week Personal Gifts: “If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. (NLT) ( Romans 12:8 ) Our culture sometimes pushes us to be something that we’re not, but this is a good reminder that each one of us is unique with our own talents. We should treasure the things that we’re good at and do those things well. You can honor God by putting your talents to good use. Do them with passion, kindness and vigor.”
Do you know this bible trivia: Which prophet made an ax head float to the surface of a river? A. Joe, B. Elisha, C. Micah, or  D. Oded?
I am sorry I have no birthdays this week. I have misplaced my list.
Our condolences for Bud Ward’s family. You are in our prays, Kathy.
God bless everyone this week!
Oh, the answer to the trivia is found in verse 2 Kings 6:6.
