I hope everyone had a great week.
I am writing this Monday, and it is a beautiful cool day. It looks like all week will be nice.
Prayer requested for Kristen Jones, Brianna Landers, Woodie Deming and Joyce Stewart. As always pray for our first responders, our law enforcement, our state, local leaders and national leaders and our great nation.
Our devotion: “Good Shepherd” – “‘I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me’ (NLT) (John 10:14)
“These words came straight from Jesus’ mouth. If you ever wonder whether Jesus cares for you or loves you, this is your verse. He knows you so well, even the cry of your heart. He is a good shepherd who has sacrificed Himself for you. If you are wondering where God is in your life or if He cares for you, this is your message. These are His words speaking directly to you.”
Happy birthday to Ricky Enfinger on July 1, Zoey Long on July 2, Esther Murley on July 3 and Dianne Fish on July 5. I hope everyone has a great day!
Quote of the week: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched — they must be felt with the heart.” -Helen Keller
Independence Day (July 4th) is Monday. I hope everyone is planning a great day with family and friends. Do you know the history of this important day? The Fourth of July is a U.S. federal holiday commemorating the ratification of the Declaration of Independence by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. The Second Continental Congress declared that the Thirteen Colonies were no longer subject to King George III, the ruler of Britain at that time, and were independent states. They voted to approve independence on July 2 and adopted the Declaration of Independence two days later.
