Hello from Enville! I hope you all had a great holiday week! The weather has been a little warmer, but the cold is coming back this week. These back and forth temperatures are keeping our sinuses all messed up. I am ready for it to get cold and stay. Level out and quit bouncing around!
December is here. I hope it brings good news, warmth, peace, love and healing to all. There are a lot of activities going on in December. The first was the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree on Chester County Courthouse lawn on Nov. 29. On Dec. 1, the Henderson Christmas Parade will begin at 7 p.m. on Main Street. There will be several parades in surrounding towns. Check local newspapers for times and dates. Various churches will have their Christmas programs and meals. I hope you get to attend some of these. Our annual ladies Christmas shopping day was Saturday; we started early and stayed late. We had a great time, as usual!
Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Linda Wade on Dec. 2 and Priscilla Gilbert on Dec. 6. We hope y’all enjoy your special day!
On our prayer list is Lisa Bishop, Mary Lee Guyon, Agnes Smith, Linda and Robert Johnson, Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Nicole Thompson, Amanda Johnson, Florence Stublaski, Ashley Pugh, Ann Pugh, Emily Freeman, Kathy Emerson, Loretta Plunk, Florence Stublaski, Rick Ooley, Mike Pugh, Janice and Danny Keen, Blake Thompson, Tim Harris, Jimmy Robertson, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Larry and Priscilla Gilbert, Carolyn Wright, those who have lost loved ones, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board and, as always, each other.
