Hello from Enville! Hopefully, everyone is having a great week! Another month has almost come to an end. April is knocking on our door; actually, Saturday is April 1. We all know what day that is. It is April Fools Day! Be on your toes and do not let anyone fool you; hopefully, there will only be jokes for fun and nothing that will cause any harm to anyone!
I hope all students and faculty are enjoying your Spring Break this week; whatever you do, I pray for safety and fun!
I put a hummingbird feeder up on Saturday. The weather was beautiful over the weekend, but the cooler temperatures this week may keep them away a little longer, but I am ready for any scouts that may come early!
Sunday, April 2, is Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday recalls an event in the Christian scripture (The New Testament) of Jesus entering into Jerusalem and being greeted by the people waving palm branches. For Christians, it is a reminder of the welcoming of Jesus into our hearts and our willingness to follow Him. Palm Sunday is also called Passion Sunday. It is the last Sunday in Lent, and it is the first day of Holy Week and the Sunday before Easter. (Https://www.brandeis. Enville sends out Happy Birthday wishes to Savannah Middleton and Brooke Lutz on April 3 and Lexi Harwell on April 5.
Happy Anniversary to Keith and Stephanie Middleton on April 3. We hope you all enjoy your special day!
The Enville Community Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, at the community center. This will be a potluck meal, and if you are interested in the betterment of our community, please join us!
Our prayer concerns this week are for Lisa Bishop, Janice and Danny Keen, Agnes Smith, Mary Lee Guyon, Tera O’Neal, Harold and Janice Maness, Ann Pugh, Emily Freeman, Ashley Pugh, Shirley Hampton, Della Mixon, Linda and Robert Johnson, Tim and Tabitha Hampton, Loretta Plunk, Rick Ooley, Mike Pugh, Tim Harris, James Vinson, Jimmy Robertson, Kathy Emerson, Joann Fowler, Dot Smith, our firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, military, schools and school board and those who have lost loved ones.
