With Christmas getting so close now, I pray that everyone can say they know the Reason for the Season. We celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 25, and may your focus be upon that and not the material things of Christmas that seem to draw us all in. Take the time to be thankful for this season and what it means to us all. God is our King and ruler over all. Look to help someone that is less fortunate than yourself.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Charles Beacham on Dec. 17, JoAnn Van Cleave and Curtis Morrison on Dec. 19, Clay Cox on Dec. 21 and Clay Murley on Dec. 22.
With so much unrest in our country, I pray that each of you believers will be praying continually for our government and salvation for the lost.
Please pray for the recent tornado victims, Richard Atkins, Martha Cooper, Jake Richardson, Ashley Pugh, Billy Austin, Jake Holt Burkhead, Faye Morrison, Joyce Beecham, Doug Thomas, Tavish and Lachlan Cox, Ann Morrison, Jessie Pugh, Faye Crouse, Ed and Betty Morris, healthcare workers and law enforcement. We especially want to remember the families of Nancy McCaskill, Larry Paul Gatlin, Glenn Murray Cook, Jr., Thomas Edward “Eddie” Jones and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
Please call Betty Cooper at 879-9078 to book the use of the community center.
