Thank you to all that came out and supported our Big Country Breakfast and Bake Sale. With your support during this event it truly helps our center.
Ann Moore wanted to say thank you to all her supporters for their votes during the recent election.
The Andrew Davis Family Reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 28, at the New Friendship Community Center. This is a potluck lunch and eating will start around noon or shortly after.
We need more community involvement for our center and would like to invite people to join in. Membership dues will be coming due as of Sept. 1 and can be paid at the breakfast. Annual dues are $25. We appreciate all our members and would like to have more events if we can get enough help to do so.
Montezuma sends out happy birthday wishes to Peggy Whitman on Aug. 25, Andy Thomas on Aug. 26, Reba Croom on Aug. 28, Raven Croom on Aug. 29, Kathy Geary on Aug. 31 and Erica Quarles and Teresa Crouse on Sept. 1.
Our community leaders, government officials, law enforcement, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers and administrators and many others can certainly use our prayers daily with all that is going on in our world. There is much spiritual warfare with society accepting things that go against who God is and what HIS laws are that we are to follow. Every day of life has its challenges, but if we look to God for the right path, it can be a good one. Please pray for Jeanette Walker, Paul Schilling, Lisa Bishop, Kolby Cumingham, Jennifer Paton, Imogene Naylor, Dwight Rhodes, Lill Emerson, Samantha Stark, Nancy Crouse, Martha Cooper, Jake Richardson, Ashley Pugh, Faye Morrison, Ann Morrison, Faye Crouse, Ed Morris and others that are sick or healing. We especially want to remember the families of Mardy Jean Jones, James Huse, Jimmie Wolf, Arlin Porter and other families that have recently lost loved ones.
