Good day to all! I am writing this on Sunday, and we had had blue skies, beautiful sunshine and 49 degree weather of Sunday. We have had a lot of cardinals and chickadees during this frigid weather. The weather forecast is for highs mostly in the low 50s and a few mid 40s for the week, and the lows range from 18 degrees to 34 degrees at night with warmer nights toward the end of the week.
We watched the Titans and Bengals game Saturday; unfortunately, the Titans lost by three points. It was a good game and tied up in the last quarter, but a lot of haphazard plays were made on both sides. Well, on to next year and learn from mistakes. This (Sunday) afternoon the Bulls and Chiefs play.
Bro. Glenn delivered a great sermon this morning at Friendship Baptist Church on the Sanctity of Life. It did and should give a person a lot to think about. We will be having our fifth Sunday night singing and potluck at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 30. Come and enjoy the food and fellowship with us.
Congratulations to Chase Priddy, son of Doug Priddy and grandson of MaryAnn and Jimmy Priddy, on his promotion in the Army. He is stationed in Texas. We pray for your safety and success while on this part of your journey in life. We are proud of you! God bless.

Marla, Kendyl and Kevin Davidson along with Kirk and Brooklynn Walls recently enjoyed a week of Disney in Florida. I bet the temperatures were warmer there!
Kevin Davidson was promoted to Lieutenant with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. He was previously working Hardin County but is now in Madison County. Congratulations!
Rachel Ellington and Sheila Evans enjoyed brunch with Frank and Marion Vaness on Saturday. They really enjoyed visiting with their gracious hosts and the food was awesome!
