Chester County Youth Theater presented Disney’s Newsies, Jr. to full audiences Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at Williams Auditorium. Director Becky Hartle said, “We were thrilled to perform Newsies Jr. to the community of Chester County as we featured 63 Chester County students in the fourth-12th grades. We have been preparing for this production since August, and it was a wonderful experience to see all of our cast and crew’s hard work come to life on stage! We are especially thankful for music director, Lauren Malecha, and choreographer, Abby Hysmith. We are going to miss the 13 eighth graders that will be aging out of our program but excited for whatever show we will do next school year!”
